Correcting Transactions or Requests in Workday

When a Workday transaction, request, or process that you have been initiated needs additional information or correction, that transaction or request will be sent to your Workday inbox. 

When this occurs, treasurers or cardholders (the initiator of the transaction or request) should receive email notification from Workday that an item is in your inbox for your review. 

The initiator will log into Workday, and find the Workday process in their inbox.

In the inbox, there will be all new and sent back processes that need attention. A sent back process can be identified by those that have an additional notation "Sent back by"

All processes sent back will have comments added that will explain the corrections needed in order for the request or transaction to be processed. Those comments will be at the last portion of the process, so please scroll to the bottom of the page past any details or other entries on the process. 

Please also note that comments may not appear in the app version of Workday. Please plan on opening Workday from a web browser to be able to view the send back comments.
